Van City 8

Today is our last full day of work at our sites. Our group is a wee bit tired but they continue to press on. I've been impressed with some of the conversations we have had in our family time. Last night we looked at POWER, the abuse of it and the POWER that God gives us. It was neat for the students to realize that they have certain powers that they can abuse or that they can use for the glory of God. They realized that what comes out of their mouths can bless or curse somebody, which is POWERFUL. One commented that being an older sibling was a position of power that can be abused or used to His glory as well.
While some of our work has been different than we originally thought, our students have been challenged on many fronts and I'm proud of them.
Blessings

Free will and the power that comes with it is an amazing gift from God. I firmly believe that is one main reason we are here on Earth...to learn to love God and have the power/free-will to not love God if we so choose. Because if we truely choose to love God, how much more special is that?
